To help accomplish the Order’s mission to defend the faith and serve the poor and the sick, the American Association extends two types of grants annually. Regular grants are awarded to tax exempt organizations in which our members actively participate in hands-on work as a ministry of their Area. Local Area Project Support Grants are awarded to local Area projects that our members operate that do not fall under a separate tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
